BASE JUMPINGCheck out our video clips:
Base jumping is when a crazy person (usually a highly experienced skydiver looking for new thrills), jumps off a static cliff or building with nothing but a parachute on their back!!! Obviously, the risks are very high as the ground is exceptionally close. Highly specialised chutes are used by people with steel nerves and exceptionally fast reflexes (Chris calls them CAT people!). The Orlando Towers site is base jump friendly, and experienced base jumpers with their own equipment are welcome. You will be required to sign an Orlando Towers indemnity form on arrival at the site. Base jumping MUST be pre-arranged by contacting our BASE Co-ordinator, Arie Fourie on Arie.Fourie@bateman.com. Arie needs to ensure that anyone wanting to base jump has the required experience and equipment. Please give Arie at least 2 working days notice of your intended jump. Site is open for base jumping on Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday between 7am and 8am. Feel the Power!!! |
